Phil 3:10 that I may know Him and the power of His resurrection,

The Power of the Resurrection

Jesus suffered death on the cross so we could live.  But the power to live is in the Resurrection.  Without the Resurrection there would be no hope for us.

I cry when I see the cross because it represents death.   Jesus would not have needed to die had I never sinned.  But I praise the Lord because of the Resurrection.  There is joy in the Resurrection because He lives.  Because he lives, I can also live.

There is no death because of the Resurrection.  It took Jesus' death and Resurrection to save us.

I want to know Jesus and the Power of His resurrection.  This is the power that indwells us so we can live Godly lives.  Jesus' Holy Spirit works salvation in us and through us.  All you have to do is ask Jesus to fill you with His Holy Spirit and He will.

Have a wonderful Resurrection celebration.

Come Lord Jesus.

Acts 2:30 "Therefore, being a prophet, and knowing that God had sworn with an oath to him that of the fruit of his body, according to the flesh, He would raise up the Christ to sit on his throne,

Acts 2:31 "he, foreseeing this, spoke concerning the resurrection of the Christ, that His soul was not left in Hades, nor did His flesh see corruption.

Acts 2:32 "This Jesus God has raised up, of which we are all witnesses.

Acts 2:33 "Therefore being exalted to the right hand of God, and having received from the Father the promise of the Holy Spirit, He poured out this which you now see and hear.

Acts 4:33 And with great power the apostles gave witness to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus. And great grace was upon them all.

Rom 6:8 Now if we died with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with Him,

Rom 6:9 knowing that Christ, having been raised from the dead, dies no more. Death no longer has dominion over Him.

Rom 6:10 For the death that He died, He died to sin once for all; but the life that He lives, He lives to God.

1 Cor 15:13 But if there is no resurrection of the dead, then Christ is not risen.

1 Cor 15:14 And if Christ is not risen, then our preaching is empty and your faith is also empty.

1 Cor 15:15 Yes, and we are found false witnesses of God, because we have testified of God that He raised up Christ, whom He did not raise up; if in fact the dead do not rise.

1 Cor 15:16 For if the dead do not rise, then Christ is not risen.

1 Cor 15:17 And if Christ is not risen, your faith is futile; you are still in your sins!

1 Cor 15:18 Then also those who have fallen asleep in Christ have perished.

1 Cor 15:19 If in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men the most pitiable.

1 Cor 15:20 But now Christ is risen from the dead, and has become the firstfruits of those who have fallen asleep.

1 Cor 15:21 For since by man came death, by Man also came the resurrection of the dead.

1 Cor 15:22 For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ all shall be made alive.

1 Cor 15:42 So also is the resurrection of the dead. The body is sown in corruption, it is raised in incorruption.

1 Cor 15:43 It is sown in dishonor, it is raised in glory. It is sown in weakness, it is raised in power.

1 Cor 15:44 It is sown a natural body, it is raised a spiritual body. There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body.

Phil 3:8 Yet indeed I also count all things loss for the excellence of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord, for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and count them as rubbish, that I may gain Christ

Phil 3:9 and be found in Him, not having my own righteousness, which is from the law, but that which is through faith in Christ, the righteousness which is from God by faith;

Phil 3:10 that I may know Him and the power of His resurrection, and the fellowship of His sufferings, being conformed to His death,

Phil 3:11 if, by any means, I may attain to the resurrection from the dead.

Heb 6:1 Therefore, leaving the discussion of the elementary principles of Christ, let us go on to perfection, not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works and of faith toward God,

Heb 6:2 of the doctrine of baptisms, of laying on of hands, of resurrection of the dead, and of eternal judgment.

1 Pet 1:3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to His abundant mercy has begotten us again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,

1 Pet 1:4 to an inheritance incorruptible and undefiled and that does not fade away, reserved in heaven for you,

1 Pet 1:5 who are kept by the power of God through faith for salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.

1 Pet 3:21 There is also an antitype which now saves us; baptism (not the removal of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God), through the resurrection of Jesus Christ,

1 Pet 3:22 who has gone into heaven and is at the right hand of God, angels and authorities and powers having been made subject to Him.

Rev 20:4 And I saw thrones, and they sat on them, and judgment was committed to them. Then I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded for their witness to Jesus and for the word of God, who had not worshiped the beast or his image, and had not received his mark on their foreheads or on their hands. And they lived and reigned with Christ for a thousand years.

Rev 20:5 But the rest of the dead did not live again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection.

Rev 20:6 Blessed and holy is he who has part in the first resurrection. Over such the second death has no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with Him a thousand years.
