Godís Hot Line By Frances M. McCrory-Meservy September 1978
Alís norm was to go to sleep at 10 PM. I am a night owl and usually donít go to sleep until after midnight. At 10:30 I had an urgent gut feeling Al should call his Mom. He had learned that these were from the Lord and we should act on them.
He got up and called his Grandfather to get her phone number. He then called her. She was about to commit suicide. He talked to her for hours and finally led her to the Lord about 5 AM.
She got worried about our phone bill. I told her, "donít worry about the phone bill because we are on Godís hot line and Ma Bell is not even connected."
Al asked her if she would like to come out and visit for a couple of weeks. He then hung up and called American Airlines to make reservations. Then he called his Mom back and gave her the information.
The day his Mom arrived from Florida, we received the phone bill. Every phone call made that night was on the bill except the long one. We never did get a bill for the call when Al led his Mom to the Lord. He showed her the bill. God provided a miracle to build her faith and start her walk with the Lord.
Alís Mom did not accept Jesus that day but she did meet Him. God started drawing her to Him.
Rom 10:14 How then shall they call on Him in whom they have not believed? And how shall they believe in Him of whom they have not heard? And how shall they hear without a preacher?
Heb 2:4 God also bearing witness both with signs and wonders, with various miracles, and gifts of the Holy Spirit, according to His own will?
2 Cor 13:1 This will be the third time I am coming to you. "By the mouth of two or three witnesses every word shall be established."
