Smothered Sirloin

2 ¼ lb.                Sirloin Steaks

1 Sm.                 Yellow Onion, halved and sliced

1 4-oz. can         Portabella Mushrooms

                         Salt

                         Pepper

                         Granulated Garlic

½ stick              Butter

1 tsp                  Olive oil

Pre-heat oven on 400 Deg. Put Salt, Pepper & Garlic on steaks (both sides). Brush on Marinade and cover in refrigerator for about an hour (while potatoes are baking). Put oven on Broil or heat up Grill outside. Broil or grill steaks for 10 minutes on one side and turn over. Broil or grill other side for 10 minutes (Medium well done). While steaks are cooking, Put ½ stick of margarine in skillet and melt. Add onions and sauté, turn over and add Mushrooms. Sauté other side – while stirring Mushrooms into mix. Put Sirloin on plate and cover with Mushroom and Onions. Serves 2

Baked Potato

Salad, cucumber, banana pepper and/or Asparagus

Milk, Iced Tea or Red Wine
