Onions and Mushrooms

1 med.                 Onion, Sliced

1 4-oz can           Mushrooms (or handful of sliced fresh)

1 stick                 Margarine (or 1 stick of butter in 1 tablespoon of Olive Oil)

Melt margarine in skillet. Sauté’ onions in margarine. When onions are almost done, add Mushrooms to onions and sauté’. Severs 4

Serve over

Steak, hamburger, hotdogs, Scrambled eggs or omelets

Or on the side With



Iced Tea, Milk, Red Wine or Beer


Onion                  A, B9, C, Flavonoids, Quercetin, Sulfur Compounds

Mushroom         Niacin, Riboflavin, Potassium

Margarine          A, B12, D, Calcium, Selenium, Protein

My daughter came for a visit and put this (leftover from Diner) on garlic bread for a snack.  It tasted wonderful.
