I was searching the scriptures for something else and came across:

 

Luke 24:45  And He opened their understanding, that they might comprehend the Scriptures.

 

I knew this but forgot.  It is so easy to think that everyone should understand what we are trying to tell them about Jesus.  The truth is they can't understand anything about God unless Jesus opens their understanding. 

 

How can I forget something so vital.  I used to pray God would send his Spirit before me to prepare the way so people would understand what I had to tell them.  He always did.
