RED By: Frances M. McCrory-Meservy 1945

My first memory is walking in a big ditch between a train trestle and a highway with a red dog that was bigger than me.

When I asked my Mom about it, she said I was about 22 months old. She had let me play in the fenced back yard with red (our dog). Our dog and I dug a hole under the fence and crawled under.

A neighbor found us in the ditch several miles away. Our dog would nudge me back into the ditch if I started to go toward the tracks or road. She asked me where I was going and I told her I was going to Beaumont to see my Dad at work. I was going in the right direction.

2 Th 3:3 But the Lord is faithful, who will establish you and guard you from the evil one.

Background picture is not my dog but one that looks like him.
