Our song: "Can I Have This Dance" by Ann Murray
Land and Sea
By: Frances McCrory Meservy
@ February, 1966
If I were the land
And you were the sea,
A wave would be your hand
And you would caress me.
The stormy sea is your passion
The thundering clouds mine.
A glassy sea - tranquil union
The whispering breeze - love divine.
Your rivers would love me
Make me pregnant with life.
Your love would nourish me
Make me beautiful as your wife.
The fruits of love are never ending
Ever growing in sand and sod.
Our love will be ever mending
By the wondrous works of God.
