Christmas comes but once a year

And we shed not one tear.

We sing wondrous songs of cheer

Because You are with us here.

We will always cherish You and hear.

In our hearts, You are very near.

And God's wonders will be clear.

With Satan always in the rear

Love like a lit candle will sear.

Come let me bend your ear

And tell of love that does not veer.
