"Hello-Goodbye" by Simon & Garfunkel

Impatience By Frances McCrory Meservy Dec 1963

Impatience never gets anything done

Impatience will always jump and run.

If he would stop and walk,

He might find time to talk.

Impatience calls then runs away

And comes back another day.

He finds that everything is the same

And he’s the one to blame.

Impatience looses time

And many a dime

Because he doesn’t wait

For the better fate.
