Shellfish is no longer considered bad for us. LSU in Baton Rouge, LA found that things containing cholesterol do not change our cholesterol levels. Shellfish actually helps lower Cholesterol and Triglycerides because of the Omega 3 in them. They do have vitamins and minerals that actually help protect our hearts. They also help us with our memories and immune system.  It also has iodine in it to help our thyroids work better.
