Counseling a non-Christian
I met a lady in the grocery line. She liked me and we exchanged phone numbers.
She would call ever so often with a problem and ask me what I thought. I would look up the answer in the Bible and give advice in accordance with God's word. She would listen and apply the advice I gave her and it always worked. This went on for almost a year.
One day she called and said I need some advice but I don't want to know what the Bible says. I told her I did not know how to advise anyone without the guidance of the Bible. She hung up. Importance of God's Word
Close to an hour later she knocked on my door and asked, "OK! What does the Bible say?" We looked it up together and found the answer to her problem.
She started going to church. We moved and I don't know if she ever accepted Jesus or not. I believe she did.
