"God Does not exist" by Frances M. Meservy
In April 1987 we were moving across Houston from the Bear Creek area to the Clear Lake/NASA area. We had almost everything packed and Al hired a couple of men to load the truck, drive it 60 miles across Houston and unload it in Clear Lake.
Almost everything was loaded when one of the men picked up my Bible and asked if I wanted to pack it on the truck. I took it and he said, "I don't believe that God exists because I can't see Him."
I replied, "The wind does not exist."
He said, "Yes it does."
I reiterated, "No it doesn't because I can't see it."
He said, "But you can feel the wind. It blows and things moves and there is evidence that it is there."
I answered, "Yes it does and if you pay attention, you will feel God and there will be evidence that he is real."
He pondered, "I have to think about that."
I prayed for him all the way to the other side of Houston. I planted a seed and from there it is between him and God.
Exo 14:21 Then Moses stretched out his hand over the sea; and the LORD caused the sea to go back by a strong east wind all that night, and made the sea into dry land, and the waters were divided.
John 3:8
"The wind blows where it wishes, and you hear the sound of it, but cannot tell where it comes from and where it goes. So is everyone who is born of the Spirit."Background picture can in an e-mail. Author unknown
