Corn Field in Iowa by Fran Meservy

Saving Crops By: Frances M. McCrory-Meservy

A farmer’s wife called and said they needed rain really bad or they were going to lose all their crops. I knew in my heart that God was not going to send rain.

I explained that it was not God’s will for it to rain but we could pray for a heavy mist like they had in the Garden of Eden that would cover her land and save her crops. It would have the same effect as if it had rained only the water would come up instead of down. She agreed and we prayed.

Several weeks later at harvest time the same lady called me praising the Lord because every morning their farm was covered with a heavy mist and they had a bumper crop that year. Farms all around them were in trouble but they were blessed.

Gen 2:4-6 This is the history of the heavens and the earth when they were created, in the day that the LORD God made the earth and the heavens, before any plant of the field was in the earth and before any herb of the field had grown. For the LORD God had not caused it to rain on the earth, and there was no man to till the ground; but a mist went up from the earth and watered the whole face of the ground.
