Sunshine & Cloud May 1991 by Frances M. McCrory-Meservy

All three of our grandchildren (age 1, 2 & 3) came to spend time with us in KS.  It was still a little chili but they wanted to go swimming in the pool in our back yard.  They were doing fine until a cloud covered the sun.  They were upset because it was cold and wanted me to make the water warmer.

I was going to tell them to ask Jesus to move the cloud but my own brain questioned if that was wise or not.  What if God did not move the cloud (fear that He would not move the cloud)?  I know it was me and not Satan because I had not said it out loud and Satan can not read our thoughts.  I decided to step out in faith and trust God to give my grandchildren a stepping stone to faith in Him.

I explained to them that all they had to do was ask Jesus to move the cloud and the sun would warm them up.  All three in one breath yelled, "Jesus please move the cloud so the sun can make us warm."  Instantly the cloud moved and they started jumping up and down and shouting, "Thank you Jesus."

Deu 11:14 'then I will give you the rain for your land in its season, the early rain and the latter rain, that you may gather in your grain, your new wine, and your oil.

1 Sam 12:18 So Samuel called to the LORD, and the LORD sent thunder and rain that day; and all the people greatly feared the LORD and Samuel.

Mark 10:15 "Assuredly, I say to you, whoever does not receive the kingdom of God as a little child will by no means enter it."

Mark 4:40 But He said to them, "Why are you so fearful? How is it that you have no faith?"
