Word of knowledge - imparting a word from God to a person about something in his/her life that needs attention (physical, emotional or spiritual).   A person with this gift has an insatiable appetite for learning.  They are constantly reading or studying something.  Careful - knowledge makes one proud (remember God is our source & He taught us what we know).

Definition: the fact or condition of having information or of being learned

Example: Word of knowledge from God about what's really happening

Word of Knowledge

1 Cor 12:8 for to one is given the word of wisdom through the Spirit, to another the word of knowledge through the same Spirit,

Luke 1:77 To give knowledge of salvation to His people By the remission of their sins,

Rom 10:2 For I bear them witness that they have a zeal for God, but not according to knowledge.

1 Cor 13:2 And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing.

1 Cor 14:6 But now, brethren, if I come to you speaking with tongues, what shall I profit you unless I speak to you either by revelation, by knowledge, by prophesying, or by teaching?

1 Cor 8:1 Now concerning things offered to idols: We know that we all have knowledge. Knowledge puffs up, but love edifies.

John 4:16-18 Jesus said to her, "Go, call your husband, and come here." The woman answered and said, "I have no husband." Jesus said to her, "You have well said, 'I have no husband,' "for you have had five husbands, and the one whom you now have is not your husband; in that you spoke truly."

Prov 15:14 The heart of him who has understanding seeks knowledge,

Jer 3:15 "And I will give you shepherds according to My heart, who will feed you with knowledge and understanding.
