Angels (A Lullaby)
Written and sung By: Frances M. McCrory-Meservywhen I had my children, I could not remember any lullabies so I made one up. Different verses were written at different times - a verse for each child and grandchild (Stephanie's Children).
I made the quilt to go with the song (I embroidered the 1st verse & chorus on the quilt) in 1996 and gave it to my granddaughter Ambre' for Christmas. I found the different scenes on material in 3 different cities (Houston, Beaumont TX & Wichita KS) It took me 6 years to find the pieces and make the quilt. It was a labor of love.
(1966 for Stephanie)
