Example: Although over the years a lot of people have said I have the gift of Faith, I do not to have it. Jesus gave me a measure of faith and that faith has grown over the years. As the faith He gave me grows, I am bolder in using the gifts He gave me. A person with the gift of faith is bold from the moment they get saved and some may be before. Sometimes it's hard to tell if it's joy or faith if the person just met Jesus and accepted Him. I believe Paul had the Gift of Faith. He never wavered no matter what happened in his life. He was bold unto death. Stephen & Barnabas had the gift of Faith. Some of the 11 disciples on the other hand wavered after Jesus was taken into custody and died on the cross. IE: Thomas had faith but he absolutely did not have the Gift of Faith. Peter denied Jesus 3 times after He was arrested. Jesus said he was a rock of faith; yet he did not have the Gift of Faith.
Rom 12:3 For I say, through the grace given to me, to everyone who is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think, but to think soberly, as God has dealt to each one a measure of faith.
Acts 6:5-6 And the saying pleased the whole multitude. And they chose Stephen, a man full of faith and the Holy Spirit, and Philip, Prochorus, Nicanor, Timon, Parmenas, and Nicolas, a proselyte from Antioch, whom they set before the apostles; and when they had prayed, they laid hands on them.
Acts 6:8 And Stephen, full of faith and power, did great wonders and signs among the people.
Acts 11:24-25 For he was a good man, full of the Holy Spirit and of faith. And a great many people were added to the Lord. Then Barnabas departed for Tarsus to seek Saul.
