I know if everyone writes an e-mail to their congressman, they can delete all of them in one easy click.

I know if everyone calls their congressman, they can let a recorder or someone else answer the call and never get the message.

I know if someone takes a petition and sends it to congress, they can step over it or ignore it or decide it is fake.

I also know that if people went back to writing letters, their congressmen would have to trip over those bags of mail and could not ignore them. They would do what the people wanted just to get them to leave them alone.

Yes I have been a political activist at times. My new battle is with the FDA (getting colors out of our medications). If you want to get involved, here's the story and what you can do.

How did I learn all this? I took a course in business law in college and my law professor was a US congressman from TX. He taught us how to fight city hall and how to get our elected official's attention.

He said calling your congressman was usually a waste of time because most felt that you would write a letter if you were serious. At that time people were into petitions - he said they were a waste of time because the official could just step over a single piece of mail; but he did not like tripping over bags of mail.

And of course, God's word tells us how and Jesus promised to tell us what to say.

Mat 10:19-20 "But when they deliver you up, do not worry about how or what you should speak. For it will be given to you in that hour what you should speak; "for it is not you who speak, but the Spirit of your Father who speaks in you.

Luke 18:1-8 Then He spoke a parable to them, that men always ought to pray and not lose heart, saying: "There was in a certain city a judge who did not fear God nor regard man. "Now there was a widow in that city; and she came to him, saying, 'Get justice for me from my adversary.' "And he would not for a while; but afterward he said within himself, 'Though I do not fear God nor regard man, 'yet because this widow troubles me I will avenge her, lest by her continual coming she weary me.'" Then the Lord said, "Hear what the unjust judge said. "And shall God not avenge His own elect who cry out day and night to Him, though He bears long with them? "I tell you that He will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless, when the Son of Man comes, will He really find faith on the earth."

Biblical principles work. The Jews know that and use them. Why aren't we?

Satan, his angels and demons are our enemies and they can not touch us. They can only scar us or influence us. The Jews do not have more power than Satan and Satan has already been defeated.

It is not in the Jews best interest for the USA to be bankrupt. We are their main ally right now. Without us they would have no help and they know it. If they can manipulate things as well as you say, why are the Arab nations still standing?

I do not believe they are stronger than God in us. To believe that would lower my Christian standards and cause me to lose all home.

I stand on the following scripture in my belief and faith that God is in control and who my battle is with.

Col 1:13-17 He has delivered us from the power of darkness and conveyed us into the kingdom of the Son of His love, in whom we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins. He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. For by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. All things were created through Him and for Him. And He is before all things, and in Him all things consist.

Eph 6:12 For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.

Col 2:13-15 And you, being dead in your trespasses and the uncircumcision of your flesh, He has made alive together with Him, having forgiven you all trespasses, having wiped out the handwriting of requirements that was against us, which was contrary to us. And He has taken it out of the way, having nailed it to the cross. Having disarmed principalities and powers, He made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them in it.

1 Pet 3:21-22 There is also an antitype which now saves us; baptism (not the removal of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God), through the resurrection of Jesus Christ, who has gone into heaven and is at the right hand of God, angels and authorities and powers having been made subject to Him.

1 John 5:18 We know that whoever is born of God does not sin; but he who has been born of God keeps himself, and the wicked one does not touch him.

Rom 8:38-39 For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Eph 3:8-12 To me, who am less than the least of all the saints, this grace was given, that I should preach among the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ, and to make all see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the ages has been hidden in God who created all things through Jesus Christ; to the intent that now the manifold wisdom of God might be made known by the church to the principalities and powers in the heavenly places, according to the eternal purpose which He accomplished in Christ Jesus our Lord, in whom we have boldness and access with confidence through faith in Him.
